I've been out of town for the last couple of days. I'm embarrassed to tell that I forgot my sketchbook to city. So here's what I burned with aid of magnifying glass and sun on a piece of wood. I did plenty of these but most of them were just rubbish.

Wow, that's actually really a creative sollution :) Love your fish drawings by the way..
hilarious. is there a better kind of wood for this over others?
dood thats some crazy srtuff!!!! you have a steady hand
I found that birch bark works good when turned over. It's best if the wood is dark enough so that it doesn't reflect too much light back. Otherwise it will take a long time before you get anything burned. With birch bark there's still enough contrast between the burned line and wood surface.
dood thats awesome!! It looks fun too!! that would be so cool for something like invitations. thats dope nicely done Joonas. I'll be doing one my self in the near future
Yeah, thats cool. And very ecologic.
très beau travail, bravo et bonne continuation!!
wha?
art finds a way I guess.
excellent burned image.
Awesome fish!
Yes yes yes. Just don't burn your fingers. My crafts have recently mostly been confined to making pipes out of bamboo, clay and seashells, but maybe I should keep that to myself...
