I'm graduating somewhere around December, so I'm a bit busy with that. Here's some random sketches from my sketchbook and hard drive.

time-lapse painting

This is a time lapse video from last weekend. The big picture lost everything I liked about in the sketch. I had to memorize the sketch because I had it only on my hard drive. But at least the painting was fun to do. My younger sister helped me. Kiitos Iida!

childhood photos

I found some childhood photos. The best moment captured was propably me opening the package of my first He-man masters of the universe figure. I can't believe I've managed to lost that one. But another photo was as reference when doing this.

bringing back more old characters

this is a quickly made model of a character I've posted some time before. It's about 15cm tall.

clowns for class

I've posted these clowns quite a long time ago, now I made some new studies of the characters for my animation classes. I thought they had something worth developing.

I need to practice more and more animating. Here's what I did for practice last night and this morning. No inbetweens yet. I have to do some real projects too. The quote is from "V for Vendetta". I hope I'll find the time to finish this one.

it's been a while

I haven't been posting much lately. It's because I've been doing other stuff. I can't believe how hard it is to create anything if you haven't been drawing for a while. Would a cat feel bad eating a catfish?

cintiq stuff

Scribbles with Cintiq. The girl in the picture was supposed to be a "caricature" of my sister. To be honest you couldn't recognize her from this, I just wanted to test if I could do any Photoshop painting. It's not looking good. As you can see it's not even nearly finished piece so all pointers and tips using color and Photoshop are welcome. Maybe I'll finish it someday... or I'll stick to burning wood ;)
